Today was a lazy day. I watched History Channel and Nat Geo Channel all day.
I love that stuff. Right now, I've got a roast cooking in the Crock Pot. Can't wait until that is ready.

I only worked three hours today (really short shift). OOOO...that's a whopping $21.00!!
I'm off Sunday and then work four hours Monday...$28.00 here I come!!
Retail hours are kinda all over the place...what am I saying...not "kinda"...they ARE all over the place.

I'm praying that God will provide...I applied for a job with Telemundo today...VP of Entertainment...the job has been open for 24 days...thing is, as with most jobs in TV, these things are filled already and the posting is just a formality. I am hopeful but not delusional.

It appears that the other "new" guy that just started at The Shack as a full time employee is not working out as they had hoped and they broached the subject of me going full time. I told them I would take it.
Please, God, I need a better paying job...I need to be able to cover my mortgage.

4. God's love
5. Novacain
I went to the dentist this morning...I had two fillings...in adjoining teeth (and an almost $200 bill after my insurance deductible)...thank God for Novacain...it was basically painless but half of my face still feels numb.
I've been watching the A&E Miniseries "The Prisoner"...very trippy stuff...almost in a retro LSD-frenetic kind of way.
What I am thankful for:
1. Patience (of my friends)
2. Love (of those around me)
3. Wisdom (of the ages)
I just finished watching the movie Big Eden for the umpteenth time...I just love that movie...the story...the scenery (Glacial Park in Washington State)...the music...it's a perfect little gay love story.
Things I am thankful for:
1. the joy music brings me
2. friends from the past that think enough of me to look me up on Facebook
3. my job at "The Shack"
I went to see 2012 on Sunday with Brian. It had great special effects but the dialog in the third hour (it was one hour too long) was hackneyed and abysmal.
It is, though, a movie to be seen on the big screen.
Things I am thankful for:
1. My friends Gioia, Blain, Brian and Doug
2. My puppy Logan
3. My part time job at "The Shack"
I have the day off...I think I'll try to go see "2012"...or maybe the movie "Precious"...one is a visual thrill ride and the other is an emotional one.
I've been on an audio book kick lately...so far in the last month and a half I have finished:

2. Valerie Bertinelli: Losing It and Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time
3. Lisa Lampanelli: Chocolate, Please!
4. Mackensie Phillips: High On Arrival
5. Tori Spelling: sTORI Telling
6. Tori Spelling: Mommywood
I've thoroughly enjoyed them all. Mackensie's was VERY depressing. Valerie's was surprisingly uplifting, inspiring even. Kathy and Lisa's showed that one can only have comedy with some tragedy...and Tori's was an interesting glimpse into the Hollywood strata.

2. my part time job at RadioShack
3. Blain getting a part time job too
4. Gioia's happiness that is derived from adopting Clementine
This weather is beautiful...and thankfully the last few days I have been fortunate enough not to have to in to work until later in the day...the sunshine is glorious...and Logan has been enjoying running in and out of the house to the backyard because we can leave the backdoor open.

My computer has been down for quite some time but now it is back and things are humming again. I just got a job at RadioShack (part time) and so far so good. I started two weeks ago and retail being what it is, my schedule is all over the place. Today I work from 6pm-9pm.
